Bengaluru-based cyber resilience startup Mitigata has raised $5.9 million in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Titan Capital and WEH Ventures, according to media reports.

The funding will be used to enhance Mitigata’s AI-powered platform, expand its cyber resilience offerings, and scale operations in India and overseas.

Mitigata offers a full-stack cyber resilience platform that combines cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and cyber insurance into a single AI-driven solution.

“At Mitigata, we’ve reimagined and Indianised the model — delivering integrated, high-impact cyber resilience that combines security and insurance into a single, cost-efficient solution tailored to the unique needs of Indian organisations,” Mitigata co-founder and chief executive Mohit Anand, said.

The company plans to establish three global security operations centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi, while expanding its teams across security, insurance, and compliance functions.

Founded in 2021 by Anand, Sarthak Dubey, Mayank Morya and Akshit Kaushik, the startup claims it has landed over 500 customers so far across 25 sectors.

Mitigata is also India’s first IRDAI-regulated insurance broker solely focused on cyber insurance.
