Meta Launches Gaming Accelerator in India to Empower Developers with Llama-Powered AI Tools
Participants will receive structured training on monetisation, user acquisition, AI-led development, and scaling games internationally.

Meta Platforms has launched its first gaming accelerator in India to support emerging developers and studios in creating globally competitive games.
Dubbed the Meta Gaming Accelerator, the three-month programme will mentor 20 to 30 selected Indian developers—though selection criteria remain undisclosed.
Participants will receive structured training on monetisation, user acquisition, AI-led development, and scaling games internationally.
A major focus will be on integrating Meta’s AI tools, including its Llama model, to enhance game design and optimisation.
“India’s gaming community is a hotbed of creativity and innovation, but to unlock its full potential, we need to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. That’s why we’re launching the Meta Gaming Accelerator – to provide Indian gaming developers with access to cutting-edge ad tools, expert mentorship, and critical guidance,” Arun Srinivas, Managing Director and Head of Meta in India, said.
The initiative also aims to prepare developers for an AI-driven industry, addressing concerns about job displacement by offering upskilling opportunities.
Meta has partnered with Bitkraft Ventures, Kalaari Capital, Lumikai Fund, and Elevation Capital for the program.
The accelerator will conclude with a demo day, where participants will pitch their games to investors and industry leaders—potentially unlocking funding or acquisition deals. As India’s gaming sector grows rapidly, the program is expected to play a crucial role in nurturing local talent.
