LambdaTest Rebrands as TestMu AI, Unveils Autonomous AI Testing Platform
The company said its new identity better aligns with its evolution into an AI-first platform that integrates deeply with modern development environments.
LambdaTest, a cloud-based software testing company founded in 2018, has rebranded as TestMu AI, marking its transition into what it calls the world’s first full-stack Agentic AI Quality Engineering platform.
The company said its new identity better aligns with its evolution into an AI-first platform that integrates deeply with modern development environments.
TestMu AI employs autonomous AI agents to plan, author, execute, analyse, and optimise test workflows with minimal human intervention, handling tasks from database and API checks to user interface and performance validation.
“AI is fundamentally changing how software is built and shipped,” said Asad Khan, CEO and co-founder of TestMu AI. “Development cycles that once took weeks now take hours. But speed without quality is chaos. We recognised that testing needed to evolve from brittle, high-maintenance automations to intelligent context-driven agents that understand change and act on it autonomously.”
The rebrand follows a deep architectural overhaul beginning in 2022, as the company integrated agentic AI across its offerings to empower continuous, autonomous quality assurance. TestMu AI’s platform now supports billions of tests annually for more than 18,000 enterprise customers across 90+ countries.
The name TestMu is drawn from the community-driven TestMu Conference, an industry forum that has brought together quality engineers and developers for discussions on AI’s role in testing.
TestMu AI plans further innovations, including agent-to-agent testing and deeper integration with developer workflows, positioning AI agents as central to future software quality processes.
