# L&T-Cloudfiniti & QpiAI Unite to Advance Quantum Computing Globally

L&T-Cloudfiniti has [entered a strategic partnership](https://www.larsentoubro.com/pressreleases/2025-05-15-lt-cloudfiniti-forges-strategic-partnership-with-deep-tech-startup-qpiai/?ref=theleftshift.com) with Bengaluru-based quantum startup QpiAI to advance quantum computing globally. 

The collaboration will focus on driving quantum workloads, including Quantum Computing as a Service (QCAAS), enabling scalable quantum solutions across various sectors.

Together, L&T-Cloudfiniti and QpiAI will initiate joint R&D programs that merge artificial intelligence with quantum computing to develop innovative solutions for finance, healthcare, logistics, and more.

"This collaboration will leverage our cloud infrastructure to host and execute quantum algorithms, enabling scalable deployment of quantum solutions across domains," Ms[ Seema Ambastha](https://www.linkedin.com/in/seema-ambastha-0130653/?ref=theleftshift.com), Chief Executive, L&T Cloudfiniti, added.

QpiAI, creator of Indus—the country’s most powerful 25-qubit quantum computer—is set to launch a 256-qubit system and a fault-tolerant quantum computer with 100 logical qubits, unlocking large-scale commercial applications.

Recently, the [startup unveiled](https://www.theleftshift.com/bengaluru-startup-unveils-indias-first-quantum-computer-for-education/) QVidya, India’s first 8-qubit superconducting quantum computer designed exclusively for academic institutions and research labs.

QVidya is part of QpiAI’s full-stack quantum ecosystem, integrating a modular quantum computer system, an 8-qubit Quantum Processor Unit (QPU), advanced control and readout electronics, a GUI-based algorithm development platform, and quantum learning and simulation tools.
