JumpCloud Acquires MacSolution to Strengthen MSP Presence and Expand Operations in Brazil
The acquisition will allow MacSolution’s expertise to be brought in-house, helping improve product development while providing operational guidance to enhance channel and MSP execution
JumpCloud Inc. on Thursday announced the acquisition of MacSolution, its largest managed service provider (MSP) partner in the Americas, as the company deepens its expansion in Latin America and builds a strategic go-to-market hub in São Paulo, Brazil. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The deal follows JumpCloud’s earlier acquisition of VaultOne and is aimed at strengthening the company’s global delivery and MSP capabilities.
MacSolution specialises in helping organisations modernise IT operations by managing user identities, access and devices, and brings a technically skilled team with deep expertise in JumpCloud’s platform.
JumpCloud said the acquisition will allow MacSolution’s expertise to be brought in-house, helping improve product development while providing operational guidance to enhance channel and MSP execution. The São Paulo hub will serve as a central operational centre supporting enterprise customers and partners worldwide.
“This acquisition is a major strategic step, allowing us to build an operational stronghold in a key global market like Brazil. By bringing MacSolution’s talented team of GTM and professional services personnel directly into JumpCloud, we are significantly increasing our ability to support enterprise customers worldwide,” said Antoine Jebara, co-founder and general manager of MSP business, JumpCloud.
JumpCloud said customers will benefit from increased global service capacity, faster and more secure migrations from legacy systems, and improved enterprise readiness for large, complex deployments.
“Joining forces with JumpCloud is the ultimate validation of the knowledge and specialised service our team has built over the years,” said Bruno Rotiroti, CEO, MacSolution. “We are thrilled to officially transition from being a strategic JumpCloud partner to becoming an integral part of the team.”
In October last year, JumpCloud announced the acquisition of Breez, a pioneering platform for Identity Threat Detection, Investigation, and Response (ITDR), in a move aimed at accelerating its security innovation roadmap and enhancing protection for modern, cloud-first enterprises.
