Rocket.new, an Indian startup offering an AI-driven platform for building production-ready apps from natural-language prompts, has raised $15 million in a seed round led by Salesforce Ventures, Techcrunch reported.

The Surat-based startup has already attracted 400,000 users across 180 countries, including over 10,000 paid subscribers, generating $4.5 million in annual recurring revenue.

According to co-founder and CEO Vishal Virani, the company aims to scale revenue to $20–25 million by year-end and $60–70 million by mid-2026.

“We are building the first vibe solution platform, which is not solving just a problem of day one, but what we are focusing on is solving the problem of day two,” Virani said.

400,000 builders across 180 countries are shipping with Rocket today. But let me rewind. First engineer in my family. Building from Surat. Every VC pitch had the same rhythm: raised eyebrows at my accent, a quick background check that found too much “desi” to build conviction. That pause. That smile. “Can you really build global?” They never said it directly. They didn’t have to. Today, we closed $15M in seed funding—led by Salesforce Ventures and Accel in India, with Together joining the mission. We built in silence. No launch parties. No podcasts. Just 15-hour days turning rejection into Rocket fuel. My tech team? Not a single Stanford or IIT degree among us. Just hunger and the madness to prove geography isn’t destiny. Users didn’t care about our PIN code. They cared that we killed the single-page basic prototype theater and built a comprehensive solution. Prayank Swaroop and Shekhar Kirani saw it first. When others asked, “Why should we believe an Indian team can build this?” - Accel asked, “How fast can you scale?” Then came the moment I’ll never forget: Nowi Kallen and Kartik Gupta from Salesforce Ventures didn’t just see our product and traction; they saw our mission. They bet on what we’re building with conviction. Salesforce Ventures wanted to co-lead with Accel. This is for every builder who’s told that their city limits their ambition. For every founder deemed “too local to go global.” For my 50 relentless builders across Surat, making the impossible inevitable. We’re here to make good on a promise: every imagination deserves production, not prototypes. More here: https://lnkd.in/gJfHa-4X | 274 comments on LinkedIn

Rocket.new’s platform allows users to build comprehensive apps, websites, and product functions using AI, combining large language models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google’s Gemini with Rocket.new’s proprietary deep learning systems. Approximately 80% of applications built on the platform are “serious” apps, including e-commerce, fintech, B2B, and mental health applications.

The company currently employs 58 staff in Surat and plans to double its engineering and product team over the next year to support growth and expand its proprietary AI capabilities.

The startup’s U.S. market contributes 26% of revenue, prompting plans to establish a Palo Alto office. “Rocket.new is purpose-built to solve this problem of iteration, maintenance, and deployment at enterprise scale,” said Kartik Gupta of Salesforce Ventures.

The round also saw participation from Accel and Together Fund. The funding comes just three months after the platform’s beta launch in June.
