[IBM and Deepgram today announced a strategic collaboration](https://newsroom.ibm.com/2026-02-24-deepgram-and-ibm-introduce-advanced-voice-capabilities-for-enterprise-ai?ref=theleftshift.com) to integrate Deepgram’s advanced voice capabilities into **IBM’s watsonx Orchestrate** generative AI platform, marking Deepgram as IBM’s first embedded voice partner for the solution.

*“Voice is rapidly becoming the default interface between humans and technology, and enterprise deployments require a real-time platform that is accurate, low latency, and reliable at scale,” said* [*Scott Stephenson*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/scott-stephenson-/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, CEO and Co-Founder of Deepgram. “By embedding Deepgram inside watsonx Orchestrate Agent Builder, IBM clients can build voice agents and voice-enabled workflows on top of a real-time foundation that has been developed and refined over more than a decade.”*

Under the partnership, Deepgram’s industry-leading **speech-to-text** and **text-to-speech** technologies will be woven directly into watsonx Orchestrate to help enterprises automate operations and enable richer conversational AI interactions.

The integration is designed to address real-world audio challenges — including background noise, diverse accents and natural dialogue — by supporting a broader range of languages and dialects, including many Arabic and Indian variants.

The combined solution also introduces options for **custom tuning**, real-time captioning and more natural-sounding voice outputs, expanding possibilities for customer service automation, call analysis, voice-driven data entry and other voice-enabled enterprise workflows.

*“Our watsonx Orchestrate integration powered by Deepgram APIs introduces new speech recognition and transcription capabilities to IBM clients, refining and modernising their operations,” said* [*Nick Holda*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/nickholda/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, Vice President of AI Technology Partnerships at IBM. “This collaboration aims to help enterprise organizations accelerate their AI initiatives and reinforces IBM’s open ecosystem, bringing choice and cutting-edge voice technology to partners and customers.”*

Voice interfaces are increasingly central to enterprise AI, and this collaboration positions both companies to meet rising demand for scalable, accurate voice-driven solutions.
