Hexaware and upGrad Launch ‘Agentic Academy’ to Train Workforce for AI-First Enterprise Future

Hexaware Technologies, a global IT services provider, has partnered with upGrad Enterprise to launch Agentic Academy, a large-scale skilling initiative focused on preparing its global workforce for the next wave of AI transformation—Agentic systems. This collaboration builds on Hexaware’s two-year GenAI training push, which has already upskilled 95% of its employees in AI fundamentals.

Agentic Academy addresses this need through three role-specific tracks: Builder.AI for developers, Collaborator.AI for solution integrators, and Manage.AI for operational leads. Training is delivered through upGrad’s enterprise learning platform, combining custom content, labs, and certifications.

“Agentic Academy ensures our people are equipped not only to use these systems but to lead engagements built around them,” said Vinod Chandran, COO, Hexaware.

Live Agentic projects are already underway, with the academy aiming to onboard a majority of Hexaware’s delivery and engineering teams in coming months.

“This programme is practical, outcome-driven, and built for deployment from day one,” added Srikanth Iyengar, CEO, upGrad Enterprise.

Agentic Academy marks a bold step toward building a future-ready, AI-proficient workforce at scale.
