HCLTech Names Kiran Cherukuri as Global GCC Practice Leader

HCLTech has appointed Kiran Cherukuri as its new Global GCC Practice Leader, signaling a strategic push to expand its presence in the Global Capability Centres (GCCs) space, particularly in India.
In his new role, Kiran will drive the growth of HCLTech’s GCC practice, helping clients leverage the company’s broad portfolio of services, technologies, and corporate functions. HCLTech currently partners with over 200 GCCs across the country.
“GCCs have evolved into centres of strategic digital innovation. HCLTech is doubling down on this fast-growing segment with a sharp focus on India,” said Rahul Singh, COO of Corporate Functions at HCLTech.
Kiran, who rejoined the company after holding senior roles at various tech firms and startups, brings over 30 years of experience. His previous 14-year stint at HCLTech included leadership roles in digital services, R&D, and global delivery.
