Google Launches NotebookLM App for Android and iOS
Recently, Google made Notebook Audio Overviews available in more than 50 languages
Google has officially launched a mobile application for NotebookLM on Android and iOS, a day ahead of its scheduled rollout and the Google I/O 2025 event.
Previously available only on desktop since its 2023 debut, the app now brings mobile support for on-the-go productivity.
" This first version of the app includes many of the core features of NotebookLM — with more refinements and features to come in the months ahead — and is designed to help you understand anything, anywhere," Google said in a blog post.
NotebookLM helps users digest complex information with features like smart summaries and question-based document analysis. A standout addition is Audio Overviews—AI-generated podcast-style summaries of user-uploaded content, with offline support and background playback.
The app allows users to create new notebooks, access existing ones, and quickly add content by sharing web pages, PDFs, or YouTube videos directly to NotebookLM. Uploaded sources can be easily browsed within notebooks.
Last month, Google made Notebook Audio Overviews available in more than 50 languages, which includes Hindi.
