It can draw on Google Search’s real-world data — for example, illustrating a recipe or visualising real-time weather.

Built atop Gemini 3 Pro, the model enables users to create studio-quality visuals, infographics, and diagrams with remarkable precision and contextual knowledge. According to Google, it can draw on Google Search’s real-world data — for example, illustrating a recipe or visualising real-time weather.
" Now you can create more detailed text in mockups or posters with a wider variety of textures, fonts and calligraphy. With Gemini’s enhanced multilingual reasoning, you can generate text in multiple languages, or localise and translate your content so you can scale internationally and/or share content more easily with friends and family," Naina Raisinghani, Google DeepMind Product Manager, wrote in a blog post.
One of the biggest upgrades is how it handles text: Nano Banana Pro produces accurate, legible text in multiple languages, ideal for posters, mockups and localised creative assets.
It also supports composite generation, allowing up to 14 input images to be merged in a single scene while maintaining visual coherence—even with up to five distinct faces or characters.
Creative controls are more advanced than ever: users can adjust lighting, change camera angles, shift focus, and even apply colour grading or change a scene from day to night. Output supports 2K and 4K resolutions, making it suitable for both digital and print media.
Nano Banana Pro is rolling out across Google’s ecosystem, including the Gemini app, Google Ads, Google Slides, and NotebookLM.Google includes SynthID watermarks on generated images for transparency, while “ultra” tier users and developers may get watermark-free options.
For developers and enterprises, the model will be available via Vertex AI, Google AI Studio and the Gemini API, enabling high-fidelity, agent-powered visual workflows
