# Genesys International Appoints Dhiman Basu Ray as CTO

Genesys International Corporation Limited has appointed [Dhiman Basu Ray](https://www.linkedin.com/in/dhimanbasuray/?ref=theleftshift.com) as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), as the geospatial technology company looks to expand from high-precision mapping and Digital Twins into a broader Spatial Intelligence platform for governments, enterprises and intelligent machines.

Basu Ray brings around 26 years of technology and digital engineering experience to the role. He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Global Business Head of Digital Engineering Services at Tech Mahindra, where he led the global digital engineering business across technology, product engineering, AI, software-defined vehicles, digital manufacturing and cloud platforms. 

He has also held senior leadership positions at Zensar Technologies, Happiest Minds Technologies and Wipro.

His experience includes artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics, SaaS, cloud-native applications, data and AI platforms, cybersecurity and large-scale digital transformation.

The company said its next phase will focus on an AI-native architecture that can continuously ingest, process, validate and interpret spatial data for applications spanning urban governance, infrastructure, utilities, mobility, autonomous systems and enterprise decision-making.
