ESET Launches Cloud Workload Protection to Boost AI-Era Security

ESET has unveiled a major update to its ESET PROTECT Platform with the launch of Cloud Workload Protection, a new module aimed at securing cloud environments as enterprises accelerate adoption of artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.
Announced at RSAC 2026, the solution extends protection beyond endpoints and servers to cloud workloads, offering unified visibility and management across environments.
“Across India, organisations are rapidly accelerating the adoption of cloud and artificial intelligence to drive innovation and digital growth. The discussions at the recent India AI Summit 2026 reinforced that innovation must be supported by strong foundations of trust, resilience and security.
"With capabilities such as Cloud Workload Protection and AI driven security insights, we are helping businesses protect modern workloads while enabling them to adopt cloud and AI technologies with greater confidence,” said Parvinder Walia, President of APAC at ESET.
The module secures virtual machines in public cloud environments and integrates with the ESET PROTECT XDR platform to enhance threat detection. ESET said it is offering the feature at no additional cost for most customers.
The update also introduces AI-driven reporting, improved incident visualization and an AI Advisor tool, aimed at simplifying investigations and strengthening enterprise response capabilities.
