Elon Musk is Paying $300 mn to Bring Grok to Telegram
Telegram will receive 50% of all revenue generated from xAI subscriptions purchased within the app

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov announced on Wednesday that Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, is investing $300 million in a combined cash and equity deal with the messaging platform.
As part of the agreement, xAI’s chatbot, Grok, will be integrated into Telegram and distributed via its app ecosystem for one year.
Durov stated that Telegram will receive 50% of all revenue generated from xAI subscriptions purchased within the app.
Previously, Grok was only available to Telegram Premium users, but the new deal suggests it may now be accessible to a broader user base.
Telegram and xAI have agreed to a 1-year partnership to distribute Grok to Telegram’s billion+ users and integrate it into its apps. Telegram will receive $300M in cash and equity from xAI, plus 50% of revenue from xAI subscriptions sold via Telegram. Together, we win! ❤️📈🏆 pic.twitter.com/JxTNQr4MTy
