Cornerstone Unveils AI-Powered Upgrade to Galaxy Platform to Accelerate Workforce Skilling
The company said these features will help organisations build “AI multiplier” capabilities to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Cornerstone OnDemand has announced the next evolution of its Cornerstone Galaxy platform as part of its Spring 2026 Innovation release, introducing new AI-driven features aimed at accelerating workforce skilling and talent development.
The update adds both assistive and agentic AI capabilities, including the Adaptive Learning Agent™ and AI-Powered Course Assistant™, designed to embed contextual intelligence directly into learning and development workflows. The company said these features will help organisations build “AI multiplier” capabilities to improve efficiency and outcomes.
“Cornerstone’s Spring Innovation release, with its AI multiplier capabilities like the Adaptive Learning Agent, is a critical enabler for achieving our Talent strategy. These tools are crucial for driving greater precision and efficiency in upskilling, strategic workforce planning, and proactively closing critical skills gaps for our colleagues globally,” said Nikki Hall, CHRO at AMS.
The new release comes as enterprises increasingly look to modernise legacy training systems. According to Josh Bersin, founder and CEO of The Josh Bersin Company, companies face the challenge of transitioning vast amounts of existing content into AI-native formats.
“Every training and enablement platform is moving toward AI-native platforms, but the corporate world is currently sitting on a $trillion of legacy content,” Bersin said. “Much of that content is industry compliance, certification, and credentialed material that cannot be changed immediately. Cornerstone, by making it possible to convert non-compliance content to AI-native but also keep the traditional compliance program in the same platform, gives companies a bridge from the current world to the promised world of native-AI learning.”
With the update, employees can interact with learning content in real time, ask questions, and apply knowledge within context without leaving the platform. The Adaptive Learning Agent also creates personalised, role-specific learning paths with AI-generated recommendations, simulations, and assessments.
“With this release, the Cornerstone Galaxy platform is adaptive to meet transformation needs in every step of the journey, built into how people learn, how managers develop their teams, and how leaders manage risk. We are helping our customers turn development into measurable business progress,” said Himanshu Baxi, Chief Development Officer at Cornerstone.
Cornerstone said the update also enhances administrative capabilities, enabling organisations to turn workforce data into actionable insights while improving compliance management and decision-making.
