SAN FRANCISCO — September 25, 2025 — Cloudflare today [unveiled](https://blog.cloudflare.com/email-service/?ref=theleftshift.com) the private beta of **Cloudflare Email Service**, combining email sending and routing in a single developer-centric platform.

Under the new system, developers can dispatch transactional emails directly from [Cloudflare](https://www.theleftshift.com/cloudflare-expands-project-galileo-to-shield-independent-media-and-non-profits-from-ai-crawlers/) Workers using a simple API call. The capability complements the existing Email Routing product, enabling both outgoing and incoming email workflows via the same integrated stack.

"Email Sending joins and expands our popular email routing product, and together they form the new Cloudflare Email Service — a single, unified developer experience for all your email needs," Cloudflare said in a blog post.

> Cloudflare today launched their own Email Sending service

> VERY cool, because by default every email service we use for sending for our websites gets acquired by private equity or IPOs and goes to shit

The service emphasizes deliverability and speed, with Cloudflare automatically configuring DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to ensure email providers can trust the sending domain. Because Email Service runs on Cloudflare’s global network, emails can be delivered with low latency across regions without requiring users to manage multiple server deployments.

[Cloudflare ](https://www.theleftshift.com/cloudflare-to-hire-1-111-interns-in-2026-offers-free-tools-to-students-amid-ai-disruption/)positions this unified email tooling as mission-critical for modern applications, especially those relying on AI workflows, notifications, and automated interactions. Developers can also leverage Workers to process inbound mail, handle attachments, or queue tasks based on email contents.

At present, Email Sending will require a paid Workers subscription. The company is finalising pricing details and expects to fully integrate the service by November. Meanwhile, Email Routing remains free and continues to serve as the backbone for incoming message handling.

Interested developers may join the waitlist to gain early access and start building email capabilities directly into their Cloudflare applications.
