Bosch SDS and NxtGen Partner to Launch India’s Sovereign Industrial AI Cloud
The companies will also pursue joint go-to-market initiatives and develop sector-specific solutions to help enterprises adopt industrial AI technologies.
Bosch Global Software Technologies, through its division Bosch Software and Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS), has partnered with NxtGen Datacentre & Cloud Technologies to launch India’s Sovereign Industrial AI Cloud, a platform aimed at enabling secure and compliant AI adoption for enterprises.
Under the partnership, enterprises will gain access to NxtGen’s multi-region sovereign cloud, private cloud and edge data centre capabilities, along with GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) infrastructure. Bosch SDS will contribute domain-specific AI applications and engineering expertise to support industrial transformation.
A key component of the initiative is a planned Digital Twin Manufacturing Cloud, which will integrate NxtGen’s infrastructure orchestration stack with Bosch SDS’s Industry 4.0, IoT and simulation capabilities. The platform aims to support AI-driven manufacturing intelligence, predictive maintenance, asset optimisation and edge-to-cloud industrial data orchestration.
The companies will also pursue joint go-to-market initiatives and develop sector-specific solutions to help enterprises adopt industrial AI technologies.
“The partnership includes flexible deployment models, such as Edge Data Center and Cloud-at-Customer models, enabling GPU infrastructure to be deployed at customer premises while being centrally managed,” said Ramesh Ramaswamy, chief revenue officer at Bosch SDS. “We will guide customers beyond traditional digital transformation, integrating AI/ML use cases into an 'agentic AI' journey for truly cognitive enterprises, focusing on AI model orchestration, inferencing pipelines, and performance tuning within this managed GPU environment.”
A S Rajgopal, managing director and CEO of NxtGen, added: “In manufacturing and retail, AI is rapidly evolving from dashboards to real-time operational control. That shift requires infrastructure that is local, predictable, and production-grade. By hosting Bosch SDS’s platforms on NxtGen, we are redefining how AI is deployed in India, from experimental workloads to sovereign, mission-critical systems.”
The platform will run entirely within India, allowing organisations to deploy high-performance AI workloads while meeting data residency and regulatory requirements.
