Bengaluru Startup Frinks AI Raises $5.4 mn to Scale Vision AI for Manufacturing
The startup's no-code platform enables factories to deploy and customise AI tools with minimal data and integration effort.

Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Frinks AI has raised $5.4 million in a Pre-Series A round.
With the new capital, the startup plans to expand into the US, strengthen R&D, and partner with OEMs to drive adoption. It aims to become a core AI infrastructure layer for global manufacturing.
Founded by IIT Hyderabad alumni, Aditya Agrawal, Dharmgya Sharma, and Subhra S Bhattacherjee, Frinks builds Vision AI systems for quality control and visual inspection across 1,000+ production lines in sectors like automotive, consumer goods, and medical devices.
Its no-code platform enables factories to deploy and customise AI tools with minimal data and integration effort.
The funding round was led by Prime Venture Partners, with Chiratae Ventures, Navam Capital, and Zen Technologies’ Ashok Atluri also participating. This brings its total funding to $6.25 million.
“Visual inspection in manufacturing has been around for 50 years but, due to rule-based approaches, its applicability has been limited to less than 15 per cent of scenarios on a typical assembly line. Frinks AI has leveraged advancements in image processing and AI compute to develop manufacturing-specific models. By combining foundational models with in-house fine-tuning using a small set of images, Frinks is able to guarantee 99.99 per cent accuracy to its customers,” Brij Bhushan, partner at Prime Venture Partners, said.
