Apple to Launch AI-Powered Smart Glasses by 2026
Apple plans to ramp up prototype production by the end of 2025.

Apple is reportedly preparing to launch AI-powered smart glasses by late 2026, according to Bloomberg.
The glasses will feature cameras, microphones, speakers, and integration with Siri, supporting phone calls, music playback, live translations, and navigation.
Apple plans to ramp up prototype production by the end of 2025.
While the initial version won't include augmented reality (AR), future iterations are expected to incorporate AR capabilities.
This move is part of Apple’s broader strategy to develop breakthrough AI products. Although Apple recently halted efforts to add cameras to its smartwatches, it continues exploring similar upgrades for AirPods.
The smart glasses market is rapidly evolving, with major tech players like Meta, Google, Amazon, and Snap racing to create AI-enhanced, all-day wearable devices.
Google, for example, is partnering with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster to design Android XR-based glasses powered by its Gemini AI model.
Meanwhile, Meta and Ray-Ban have launched pre-orders in India for their next-gen smart glasses, starting at ₹29,900.
Available from May 19 via Ray-Ban.com and select retail stores, the glasses blend classic design with AI-powered, hands-free functionality.
