DSP Finance Private Limited has appointed [Anuj J](https://www.linkedin.com/in/anuj-j-61109158/?skipRedirect=true&ref=theleftshift.com) as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), with a mandate to strengthen the company’s cybersecurity, information security and enterprise risk framework.

In his new role, Anuj will focus on bringing cybersecurity closer to business and risk priorities, while addressing emerging security challenges associated with technologies such as artificial intelligence. His stated priorities include cyber resilience, AI security governance, regulatory compliance and strengthening organisational trust.

Before joining DSP Finance, Anuj served as CISO at FlexiLoans, where he led information security and cyber defence initiatives. He previously worked as IT/IS Audit Head at SMFG India Credit and Information Technology Audit Manager at Epiq. Earlier, he was an Infosec Lead at Verity Global Solutions, building expertise across cybersecurity, audit, governance and risk.

Anuj’s professional background spans CISO responsibilities, cybersecurity, cyber risk and resilience, BFSI security, enterprise risk and regulatory compliance. His experience also includes information security standards such as ISO 27001 and compliance requirements associated with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

At DSP Finance, Anuj’s responsibilities will therefore extend beyond traditional security operations to include the intersection of cybersecurity, enterprise risk, business resilience and AI governance.
