The marketplace debuts with products from six partners: Snowflake, GitLab, Harvey AI, Rogo, Replit and Lovable Labs. These companies offer tools ranging from AI-assisted software development to automation for specific industries.
Developer platforms such as Replit and Lovable aim to simplify application creation using natural language prompts. Lovable’s software is designed for non-technical users to build simple apps or websites, while Replit targets developers with more advanced programming workflows.
Other partners focus on industry-specific AI tools. Harvey provides legal automation software that helps with tasks such as drafting contracts, while Rogo offers analytics tools for financial professionals analyzing investment data.
Anthropic says the Claude Marketplace is designed to simplify software procurement for enterprises. Instead of managing invoices from multiple vendors, companies can purchase compatible tools through the marketplace and apply part of their existing Anthropic spending commitments to those purchases.
The company also said it will not take a commission on marketplace transactions, according to reports.
By limiting listings to applications powered by Claude models, Anthropic hopes to encourage startups to build on its AI ecosystem. The company plans to expand the marketplace over time, potentially adding datasets, services and plugins that could help enterprises build and deploy custom AI agents more easily.
