OnePlus’ new Plus Key replaces the alert slider
OnePlus has unveiled “OnePlus AI,” a suite of new intelligent features designed to deliver personalised, secure, and context-aware experiences.
OnePlus’ new Plus Key replaces the alert slider, offering customisable functions like sound mode changes, camera launch, or recordings.
A highlight is AI Plus Mind, which organises saved on-screen content (like bookings or events) into a dedicated Mind Space, using AI to understand context and automate calendar updates. Users can retrieve this info using AI Search with natural language queries.
It also provides instant access to AI Plus Mind and AI Translations, making smartphone use more intuitive and seamless.
Other upcoming tools include AI VoiceScribe for transcribing calls, AI Reframe for better photo framing, and AI Best Face 2.0, enhancing group photos. India will get AI Call Assistant features via the Dialer app.
OnePlus also announced deeper Google Gemini integration and emphasised on-device privacy through its Private Computing Cloud (PCC). OnePlus 13s launches June 5, 2025.
